Proactive Thought:
Problem:
Indian traffic is chaotic, and during emergencies it becomes deadly. Even when people want to give way to ambulances, fire trucks, or police vehicles, they physically can’t. Traffic signals don’t adapt, lanes don’t open, and precious minutes are lost.
Insight:
The real obstruction isn’t just bad driving. It’s rigid infrastructure. Traffic signals treat emergencies the same as everyday traffic, turning life-saving vehicles into helpless bystanders.

So we thought of installing smart traffic signals equipped with receivers that detect emergency sirens or signals. Once detected, the system automatically reroutes traffic and clears the path by changing lights in real time, allowing ambulances, fire trucks, and police vehicles to reach their destinations faster.
My role:
Ideated by my art partner, Yash Ambre and I. We presented this idea at Leo Burnetts Fight Club in Mumbai, which is where we showcase the best of proactive thoughts, it was loved by all.
